About Me

Welcome to The Hair Assassin

Hi, friends and future new clients, Seth Sockwell AKA;" THE HAIR ASSASSIN".

Seth has been a Cosmetologist for 25 years and an Educational Trainer for 7 years. His continued desire is to create new trends and customize hair coloring and haircutting, wigs/extensions and formal styling.
Seth continues his education as a hairstylist and designer, his next step is starting MFA Program in Costume Design Theatre Arts in fall 2025 in Southern California. Seth's goals and support from local Professors and (Doctor PHD Judy Bauerlein CSUSM) in the theatre field. Hollywood designer, Mario Ac Della Casa mentors Seth as he moves into the Hollywood Scene as a celebrity hairstylist and lead hairstylist on set.
Seth currently teaches Cosmetology at: Saddleback Beauty Academy in Laguna Hills California. Seth works parttime behind the chair in Northern California as well as Southern California. Seth's experience starts from Toni and guy externship in 1999. licensed Cosmetologist in the state of California. (2000) licensed in North Carolina and Nevada.
His attributes include being certified with Redken Exchange, Paul Mitchell updo classes. Great clips certified. Rusk Educational Trainer for 6 years. Assistant Lab professor (Sacramento City College, Sacramento, California 2018). Seth has participated in many formal styling contests. Some of his clients have been Beauty Pageants, film and Theatre productions. Seth has been the main hairstylist of Professional Theatre productions including Professional Haunted house company (Callison Manor, Roseville, CA 2013-2015) Where He worked with, (Nicole Chilelli Season 3 Face Off winner) Seth has serviced dozens of contracts in the formal styling sector including weddings, Quinceanera, proms and west Hollywood event.
Seth's Goal is to continue work on his brand by bringing fun hair and makeup techniques and talking about what's going on in the theatre world and sharing new products he will have available online. These products will be available for a suggested donation. 10% of donation proceeds will go to local indigenous tribes that are not recognized in the surrounding area to help fund them. This will be done through streamed PODCAST.
Seth and his business partner Gina Hill (Certified Stage manager Northern California) They will be doing bi-monthly streaming here on this site.
Seth's desire embraces all from different walks of life culture and ethnicities around the world. It is because of the love he has for people and his creative side as artist (Cosmetologist, Singer, Piano player, actor and on and competitive Ice Skater that keeps him motivated in his career path. No matter what sector Seth is in he gives 200% whether he is teaching cosmetology or standing behind the chair.
